Check hosting support

Confirm the required names and installation procedure in your hosting panel. If issuance requires a CSR, generate it with a private key on the server or through the panel. A private key must not be sent as a CSR.

Validate control

Follow the issuer’s instructions. DNS validation uses the authoritative DNS operator; HTTP validation uses the relevant webserver. Do not remove email records to install HTTPS.

Verify and renew
