What is a domain and how does it work?
A memorable address for your website and email.
An address people can remember
A domain is a name visitors use to find a website, such as bestname.ua. DNS connects that name to server settings. The domain itself does not contain website files: those need hosting.
Domains, hosting and email
You can configure these separately. A and AAAA records point a name to an IP address, MX records direct incoming email, and TXT records can verify services.
Registration and renewal
Check availability and the zone requirements first. Registration lasts for the selected term; renew on time to keep using the name. Changing a name means registering another domain, so choose your address before launching the website.
