Why a domain or website is not working
Check the registration term, DNS and hosting settings.
Check the domain term
Open your account and check the domain status and expiry date. If it has expired, use the available renewal or restoration process. The options depend on the zone and how long the domain has been expired.
Check DNS
Confirm the nameservers and website A/AAAA records. If you use external nameservers, manage the zone at their provider. After changing records, caches may retain the previous answer for the record’s TTL.
Check hosting and HTTPS
If DNS settings are correct, check the hosting service, website configuration and certificate. A failed ping alone does not prove the domain has expired or the website is unavailable.
Ask support
Send the domain name, the error message, the time of the problem and whether it occurs on another network. Never include passwords or transfer codes in a public message.
