Check redirects between domains

What domain merging means

Different names may redirect to one address or contain identical pages. This does not automatically add all search metrics together.

Check the behaviour

Inspect HTTP, HTTPS, www and non-www addresses, redirect chains and final page canonicals. A hidden frame redirect is different from a permanent HTTP redirect.

For your website

Choose the primary address and align links and redirects. During a domain change, important pages should lead to their corresponding new pages. See changing a website name and domain redirects.
